1. APPLICABILITY
This page states the terms and conditions under which you use the www.chateaudemed.co.uk website. Any use of this website means you agree with them. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions then you are not authorised to use this website.
2. ORDERING/PURCHASING ON OUR WEBSITE
2.1 ELIGIBILITY
To place an order on our Website, you must be:
1. The proper legal age to purchase the selected item or items
2. A consumer - not a reseller
Should we discover that you are not legally entitled to purchase the goods, or are a reseller, we will not be obliged to complete the transaction.
2.2 HOW TO ORDER
Placing an order on the Website is easy.

4. Select delivery and billing options
5. Review your order
6. Submit your order
7. Receive an online order confirmation
You are bound by your order once you have clicked the "Submit order" button at the end of the ordering process. By clicking the "Submit order" button, you send your order to us as it is displayed in the final check out screen. Once we have received your order, an automated confirmation of receipt will be displayed on the Website, which contains your order number and the details of your purchase. The purchase agreement has now been concluded. A copy of the automated order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. We strongly suggest that you print or download this copy for future reference.
We explicitly reserve the right not to accept your order, or to cancel the purchase agreement after the automated order confirmation.
2.3 OUR RIGHT TO NOT ACCEPT YOUR ORDER OR CANCEL YOUR PURCHASE
We reserve the right to refuse any order for whatever reason. We also reserve the right to cancel any purchase (an order already accepted by us) in (amongst others) the following situations, without being liable for any damage or costs:
o the product is not available / in stock (any payments will be refunded)
o your billing information is not correct or not verifiable
o your order is flagged up by our security systems as an unusual order or an order susceptible to fraud
o your bank transfer payment is not received within 12 calendar days after acceptance of your order
o we have reason to believe you are under the age of 18
o we have reason to believe that you are a reseller
o there was an error in the price quote
o we could not deliver to the address provided by you
2.4 PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Chateaudemed.co.uk does not provide any warranties in relation to the goods sold on this website over and above its statutory requirement to provide goods that are fit for purpose and of a satisfactory quality under the current Sale of Goods legislation.
3. PRICE/PAYMENT
3.1 PAYMENT METHODS
Chateau de Mediterranean can only supply goods that are ordered through the chateaudemed.co.uk website. All payments including all shipping, handling and packing fees must be made by PayPal, Google Pay, Apple pay which also has the facility to make purchases with a credit or debit card. Chateaudemed.co.uk cannot accept any other form of payment such as cheques, postal orders or cash.
3.2 PRICES AND CURRENCY
The product prices displayed on the Website are the end price that you pay. You will not incur any additional expenses
Shipping rates are applied per order. Prices are quoted in GBP. Please contact us if you would like to order from Europe or Internationally
3.3 YOUR TOTAL PRICE
The total price specified in the final check includes shipping costs and is the final price you pay. The prices are quoted in the order confirmation of receipt of your order as well, which you can print or download for future reference. The total amount for your entire order will be reflected on your credit/debit card statement in your local currency.
3.4 PRICE CHANGES
The product prices displayed on the Website may be subject to change. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Subject to clause 3.5 below, the prices as displayed at the moment of purchase are the prices applicable to that purchase.
3.5 PRICING ERRORS
Please note that even though www.chateaudemed.co.uk is composed with care, it is possible that the pricing information on our Website may contain errors. In the event of incorrect pricing being displayed, we are not bound by our offer; we will inform you of the correct price of the item when we receive your order and you will be given the opportunity to cancel the order should you not wish to purchase the product concerned at that price.
4. SECURITY
To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Chateaudemed.co.uk uses the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the critically sensitive details you send us over the internet including your name, address and credit card details. This encryption ensures that nobody can read the information being sent between your pc and our website.

4.1 PAYMENT
Online payments are made via PayPal by a PayPal account, Google Pay, Apple pay, credit or debit card and chateaudemed.co.uk does not have access to any financial information from any payments made on this site.
5. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
www.chateaudemed.co.uk has no liability to you for the failure to deliver goods or any delay or damage or defect to the goods delivered that is caused by an event or circumstances beyond our control including without limitation acts of God, strikes, lockouts, industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, war, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire explosion, civil commotion or governmental actions and any other similar events.
6. DELIVERY
UK Standard Delivery Orders made by using our Standard Delivery service will arrive within 1-2 business days to any UK business or residential address.
In extreme weather conditions please allow additional time for deliveries.
There may be circumstances beyond Chateau de Mediterranean's' control which may lead to delays. Chateau de Mediterranean cannot be held responsible for any delays incurred by our carriers.

7. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
7.1 RETURNS & EXCHANGES
You may return your online purchase for an exchange or refund for non-perishable items within 14 days of receiving it by posting the item(s) back to us. We cannot refund or exchange used or customer damaged items (statutory rights not affected). When you return your goods, please retain proof of posting from your shipper as we will not be responsible for any items that fail to reach us.
In the event of a refund, chateaudemed.co.uk does not accept any liability, and will not refund you, for any currency charges levied by your bank or credit card provider on the initial purchase or for any difference in the buying and selling exchange rates for currency used by your bank or credit card provider.
7.2 CANCELLING ORDER BEFORE DELIVERY
You may cancel any order free of charge and without giving us any reason, provided it has not yet been shipped. If you have submitted an order and wish to cancel, email us at orders@chateaudemed.co.uk with your order number to request an order cancellation. Our consumer service agents will send you an email advising if the
order has been dispatched or not. If the order is cancelled before dispatch, cancellation will be free of charge. If cancellation was not possible, the products will be delivered to you, which you will need to refuse upon receipt. The products will be returned to us and your order will be refunded.
7.3 RETURNING PRODUCTS AFTER DELIVERY - DEFECTIVES
You are entitled to return products delivered to you in the event that they are defective or otherwise not in conformity with your order when you received them. In the event your claim is justified, the purchase price and the shipping costs will be refunded. Email us at orders@chateaudemed.co.uk to arrange free return.
7.4 RETURNING PRODUCTS AFTER DELIVERY
It is our responsibility to make sure that your order reaches your delivery address in good condition. Your responsibility starts for any damage or loss that occurs to the product after receiving it in good condition. Should the product arrive damaged or you are not completely satisfied with the condition of your order, please contact us to return you order for a replacement, refund or exchange. 7.5 CANCELLATIONS
You have the right to cancel any order made on this website before it is processed. Cancellations do not apply on processed orders that are personalised or are made to the buyer's specification such as for weddings, birthdays, etc. or products which are perishable or liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
7.6 PRODUCT EXCHANGE
Product exchanges are not possible for perishable goods. Please email us at orders@chateaudemed.co.uk to outline your requirements.
7.7 REFUND INFORMATION
In the event you return goods because they are defective or otherwise not in conformity with your order, we will pay for the ship-to and return-shipping costs. In the event you return or exchange goods for reasons other than defectiveness or non-conformity with your order, you will need to pay for the return shipment and will only be refunded for the cost of the order, not the original shipping fee.
Refunds will be issued based on the original form of payment. You will receive your refund after the product has been returned and processed.
8. AVAILABILITY
Although chateaudemed.co.uk strives to make sure everything displayed on the website is in stock and available to purchase, occasionally items may have sold out. If any part of an order is unavailable the customer will be notified by telephone, text or email of any alternatives and or missing items. Cards will only ever be debited for the goods that we send out.
9. PICTURE ACCURACY
Chateau de Mediterranean does its best to accurately represent the colours of the products in the photography. However, Chateau de Mediterranean has no control over its customers' monitor settings (colours, resolution, etc.) so we cannot guarantee the colours of the products will be exactly as they appear on the website. We will
happily refund or exchange an item within the specified period as set out in returns and exchanges section, but will not constitute the above as falling into the faulty or wrong items section.
10. PRIVACY
We use the PayPal,Google Pay, Apple pay checkout and do not hold any card details. Chateaudemed.co.uk acknowledges that it is bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 and that it will not disclose your details to any third party without your express written consent. As a matter of good practice, we do not share any personal information with anyone and we do not sell it to others.

13. USE OF CHATEAU DE MEDITERRANEAN
In connection with the use the chateaudemedco.uk in no event and under no circumstances will Chateau de Mediterranean be liable for:
o Business losses and/ or losses to non-consumers.
o Losses not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made.
o Losses that were not cause by any breach on the part of the supplier.
You consent to use this website for lawful purposes only, and in manner conducted so as not to infringe the rights of, or restrict and inhibit the use and enjoyment of this website by any third party. Such restriction or inhibition includes, without limitation, any conduct which is unlawful, or which may harass, or cause distress or inconvenience to any person and the transmission of offensive or obscene content or interference with the usual flow of dialogue within this website.
